I am back from my vacation, I have been back for almost a couple of weeks. I had a lot of fun and was able to make it work out really well despite forgetting my passport in Oslo and British Airways being on strike.
The stone photo is the corner of a building in downtown Oslo. The other stone statues are in the Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo. The photo below was a pink boat in the Oslo harbor/bay.
You may have noticed that there was actually snow in Oslo. I was a little surprised despite the fact that Norway is north of Minnesota, even London is north of Minnesota. I didn't bring a hat or gloves but my friend was nice enough to lend me her scarf and hat when I went out alone (she sometimes had to leave me in order to practice her horn, the whole reason she's there).
The above photos are from London. The first I think is the tower? Rory? It's where they brought a lot of prisoners, and Anne Boleyn. We crossed the Tower Bridge (on right) to get to it. I learned that the Tower Bridge is not the same as London Bridge. London Bridge is far less impressive and the original resides in Arizona.
Below is my (and Laura's) fish and chips dinner. The green stuff is mashed peas. There was vinegar to sprinkle on the chips/fries, and tartar sauce and mayonnaise for the fish. It was very tasty but maybe a tiny on the greasy side. I like my fish crispy if it's fried.
I'm still not used to writing the blog so I'm going to go make cookies and balance our budget. I will write more later.
